Lisa Wilson

Dipl.OM, L..Ac

Lisa holds a Master’s of Science from the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. This four-year course of study and supervised clinical experience covered both Western and Oriental models of disease, as well as the application of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Therapeutic Massage, and adjunctive therapies such as Moxibustion and Cupping.


PCOM’s program is one of the most respected and rigorous of its kind. Lisa completed over 2,000 classroom hours and over 1,325 clinical hours for certification, which is well over the national requirement. Lisa continues to further her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and natural health by attending post-graduate classes, workshops and symposiums. Her areas of special interest are women’s health, pain management, gastro-intestinal disorders, and psycho-emotional health.


Lisa was awarded the title of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed with the State of Ohio as a Licensed Acupuncturist. She is a member of the Ohio Association of Oriental Medicine and currently serves as the Secretary of the organization. She is also a member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine.


Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her undergraduate degree in Biology has given Lisa a strong background in the hard sciences and Western Medical models. She also graduated from the University of Michigan’s School of Education for Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology and General Sciences.


She has been a part of Sandusky Massotherapy’s incredible team for over 12 years.
